The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova made a speech at the last meeting of the Okrug Duma before the summer vacations.

“Judging by the experience of the work as a deputy I know how difficult you working day is. The final meeting of the session is summing up the results of the work done – a report  each of you should make for your electors in the near future. I think that the main result of the legislative work while the first half of the year is that you have what to tell people who supported you at the election. I would like to join Ugra people and thank you for the work done”, - said Natalia Komarova.

In comparison with last year  in  2010 the Dume meetings have been held by 1,5 times more. Deputies adopted over 100 regional laws almost in all spheres of social, economic and political life of the society.

Natalia Komarova determined several goals for the Government and deputies to solve jointly.

“The budget of 2011 should   be based on the priorities of our social and economic policy. First of all, housing availability. Today the Government is making a complex program in the sphere of providing people with housing. Its key goal is to build more high-quality housing by just cost, making the situation of old and dangerous to use housing better. We have an ambitious task – to build over one million sq.m of housing per year. Such a decision needs in reliable budget and legislative support”, - said the head of the region.

 Another priority topic, determined by the head of the region, is modernization, energy-saving and increase of housing and communal services sector efficiency in Ugra. “Yesterday the Autonomous Okrug Government adopted the relevant regional program. At the same time we continue working for this document including the procedure of its coordination in federal authorities. I will tell about the chief result in case of its successful implementation – these are systematic decisions which will make it possible to provide uninterrupted energy resources supply and to relieve people from the duty to pay losses of ineffective suppliers of services”, - resumed Governor.

The gradual increase of the salary for budgetary sphere  employees is also of priority for all branches of the power. “The salary will be increased while the transition of budgetary branches to new branch systems of  remuneration of labor  instead of the old United tariff rate schedule. As a result of decisions made the salary of each budgetary employees will increase  not less than by 10 %”, - said Natalia Komarova.

Governor asked deputies to support several new regional programs. Their drafts will be submitted to the Duma this autumn – development of physical culture and sport in the Autonomous Okrug, support of small and middle entrepreneurship, development of agribusiness sector, employment of the population and etc.

Natalia Komarova also said about the importance of adoption of the political draft law by deputies at the meeting: “Next year at the Duma of the V convocation 35 not 28 deputies will represent interests of Ugra people. They will get the right to create fractions without limit in the number”.

In the conclusion Governor expressed hope that after the vacations the deputies will continue working intensively.
