The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

“Small and middle business should play a greater role in the Okrug economy”, - said Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova at the meeting with entrepreneurs in Nizhnevartovsk.

In Nizhnevartovsk Natalia Komarova discussed avenues of small and middle business development with business community. Opening the round table Governor of Ugra said about several branches which are expected to grow. In Governor’s opinion, oil and gas services should be one of key industries for the region.

Another sphere of serious potential is small business in the sphere of IT. “Taking into account the active development of e-services in Ugra the scope of the work will increase. In the Okrug the Internet-commerce is weakly developed yet, but it can provide people including socially-vulnerable groups with new jobs”, - said Natalia Komarova. She also said that in Ugra there should be developed the activities for environmentally-friendly business  to minimize damage of the past and to make a transition to “green” technologies.

In agriculture it is necessary to educatepeople who would like to make business or upgrade.

The head of the region paid attention to support of inventions. “Involvement of investors’ community  into solving local goals, creation of encouragement system for useful solutions and support of start-ups of companies  via venture fund – a cheap but effective tool to increase innovational component of Ugra”, - said Natalia Komarova.

She paid attention to the necessity of tutorship development and that it is important for businessmen – beginners.

First  Vice Governor Alexander Kim said that in Ugra there is growth of private companies number. “It proves that the Government of the region has chosen a correct way in the development of entrepreneurships. Infrastructure for its development has been created, the system of business-incubators, a special fund of investment support. Recently only the RF Ministry of Economic Development allocated 100 million  rubles to Ugra for these goals. Now the key goal is to create the venture fund. At present in the Okrug the financial and program audit has been implemented to understand what resources we are possessed of and what we can propose business  in the future”, - emphasized First Vice Governor.

Also while the trip to Nizhnevartovsk the head of the region visited the plant of ventilating and metallic products “Venkona” and got acquainted with technical capacity of the enterprise, has a meeting with the staff. Natalia Komarova answered questions of employees, told about the needs of the Okrug and opportunities of the order portfolio expansion for small and middle business.
