The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova will participate in the meeting of the State Council Presidium to be held today in Belgorod under the chairmanship of the  State head Dmitri Medvedev.

The agenda includes the consideration of the measures about the intensive development of  beef husbandry  as one of the priority spheres of the country’s food security.

RF Minister of Agriculture Elena Skrynnik will report about the situation in the branch.

The meeting participants will consider opportunities for the intensive modernization and use of the most effective tools  to provide the branch with  national support  and  will  develop pre-term measures to increase export potential of  beef husbandry, first of all, poultry and pork.

Before the beginning of the meeting the members of the Presidium will visit the swine farm “Korocha”. At  present it is the biggest and most  highly-technological enterprise regarding the primary processing of meat in Russia.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

“The wave of health will cover Ugra” – the action with such a  titlewill start in Khanty-Mansiysk on July 16. The decree about that  was signed by Governor of the Autonomous Okrug Natalia Komarova.

The organizer of the event is the All-Russia NGO “League of the Nation’s Health”. The Action is aimed at rendering addressed assistance to children who suffer genetous heart diseases, defects of sight and hearing and also at promoting healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sport.

The Action participants will be accommodated on board a  motor ship which  will follow  along the Irtysh river to Omsk. Experts, specialists of research centers for  Cardiovascular Surgery named after academician A.N. Bakulev,  otorhinolaryngology and children’s health protection, complex “EyeMicrosurgery” named after S.N. Fedorov will work on board a  motor ship.
