The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On July 25-26 Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova will visit the Beloyarski District, Nyagan and Oktyabrski District.

While the business trip the head of the region will have meetings with representatives of local authorities, deputies, NGO, people of the municipalities, will discuss with them problems of the municipalities’ social and economic development and other topics.

In the Beloyarski District the head of the region and staff of the “GazpromTransgazUgorsk” company will discuss the 3 years’ draft program of cooperation between the company and District, and also issues of   young specialists support.

Besides, while the meetings  with  Governor, there  will be considered  issues of the non-profit organizations role increase in providing the population with high-quality social services, preparation of housing and communal complex for the winter, development of construction materials production with the use of local raw materials and other topics.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of  Ugra Natalia Komarova chaired the meeting to be devoted to the preparation for hosting the World Chess Olympiad-2010 in Khanty-Mansiysk.

According to the results of the discussion she gave tasks to the authorities about the necessity to provide timely and high-quality implementation of all preparatory works.

In the near time the main Olympic facilities are expected to be erected. Among them are Chess club and hotel complex in the  micro-district “Zapadny”. About 200 people will be employed temporarily while the event to serve the hotel. Afterwards the complex will be used  to accommodate employees of the budgetary sphere.

At present the main volume of the construction works has been executed by 90 %. At the final stage there are finishing works and internal engineer networks. These buildings are expected to be put into operation at the beginning of August.

Great attention is paid to accomplishment of streets and squares  in Khanty-Mansiysk. New sculptures will be installed on the area of the Archeological park by September, the landscape will be renewed. The Center of Tennis Sport Development where the competitions will be held, is ready  to host participants and guests of the Olympiad. It is equipped with  grand stands  for the capacity of 3,5 ths. people. There were made works for the improvement of the local airport runway quality. Extra booths of passport control were installed; the arrival and departure  zones are joined.

While the XXXIX World Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk on September 24 – October 02 there will be held the FIDE Congress and the   FIDE President is expected to be elected there.
