The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

The agreement on social partnerships between the Okrug Government and “GazpromTransgazYugorsk” company will be signed at the end of August. Relevant tasks were given by the head of the region Natalia Komarova while the meeting with the staff of the company in the Beloyarski District.

The main principle of such cooperation is parity of funding for the construction of facilities by the company, administrations of the region and municipality.

The first agreement on public and private partnerships was concluded in the Okrug about 10 years ago.  Since that moment a great number of social infrastructure facilities have been constructed in the frames of the Agreement. In 2007 it was signed the agreement  for a new period. But the world financial crisis did not allow to implement  all plans. The Ugra budget was greatly reduced what resulted in suspension of several programs. Vice Director General of the “GazpromTransgazYugorsk” company Yuri Kholmanski said that the situation stabilized and the company was ready to continue the cooperation. At present the plans for 3 years’ term – 2011-2013  are being  formed that includes the construction of schools, kindergartens, sports facilities and other social facilities in populated localities of the region.

Natalia Komarova expressed readiness to consider the initiatives of the “GazpromTransgazYugorsk” company and gave a task to First Vice Governor Alexander Kim to form proposals and to prepare the agreement for signing at the end of August while the business trip to Yugorsk.

On July 25 Governor of UgraNatalia Komarova will finish her business trip to the Beloyarski and Oktyabrski Districts.

While one day the head of the region will have meetings with representatives of local administrations, NGO and deputies about the social and economic development of the municipalities.

Governor will meet with the staff of the “GazpromTransgazYugorsk” company in Beloyarski and discuss prospects of three years’ program of cooperation between the company and municipality and also projects to be aimed at young specialists support.

Besides, Governor will visit the village of Kazym to view the exposition of the ethnographic museum,will meet with representatives of the Northern indigenous peoples to talk about preservation of aboriginals’ cultural heritage, development of ethnic tourism and traditional crafts.
