The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today on June 26 in Nefteyugansk Governor Natalia Komarova had a meeting with participants of the Okrug Festival of Extreme Sport “Pulse of Ugra”. This large-scale event is held with the support of the Autonomous Okrug Government and Administration of Nefteyugansk.

Three thousand participants gathered on the area of the airport which was divided into thematic  zones especially for the Festival: “Youth sub-culture”, “Strength extreme”, “Carting” and etc. About two hundred sportsmen participate in the Festival who represent the most spectacular and very popular in the world technical disciplines. In the Autonomous Okrug the development of these kinds of sport is  growing and the festival “Pulse of Ugra” attaches   new dynamics to their popularization.

Having got acquainted with the work of several thematic zones where sportsmen’s  exhibition performances took place, Natalia Komarova gave a start to the drag-racing competitions – one of the most speedy kinds of the car racing.

The head of the region had a meeting with the Festival participants, congratulated them upon the International Youth Day, wished them success and good mood.
